1099 Supervising Physician (APP Supervision)

Location: Remote, but candidates must reside in Georgia, United States

Pay: $300 per APP per month for APP supervision responsibilities

Oscar Medical Group is refactoring healthcare through personalized virtual health assessment and virtual care services.

What you will do

• Provide direct oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants across service lines.
• Ensure supervision practices comply with state-by-state laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with medical assistants, registered nurses, and other providers.
• Support Virtual Health Assessment and Oscar Virtual Care operations.
• Report to a Director of Oscar Medical Group and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Prior supervision experience with nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
• Must live in Georgia and hold an active Georgia medical license.
• Must hold a compact license or be eligible for the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.
• At least 3 years of clinical experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or outpatient family medicine.

Nice to have

• At least 2 years of telemedicine experience.
• Fluency in Spanish.
• Licensure in additional Oscar Medical Group states, including Michigan, Illinois, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Virginia, Texas, Florida, or Ohio.
