Senior Lead System Administrator (Microsoft 365)

What you will do

• Lead the design, governance, security, scalability, and long-term evolution of enterprise collaboration, messaging, identity, infrastructure, and business application platforms.
• Define enterprise technology strategies and roadmaps aligned with business objectives and future growth.
• Provide architectural leadership across Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Azure, and enterprise messaging platforms.
• Lead platform modernization, cloud transformation, digital workplace, and infrastructure optimization initiatives.
• Act as the highest-level escalation point for complex operational, performance, integration, and security issues affecting business-critical systems.
• Establish governance frameworks and operational standards while mentoring technical staff and supporting cybersecurity, business continuity, disaster recovery, and technology resiliency initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise systems administration, infrastructure engineering, platform architecture, or related disciplines.
• Deep expertise with Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Entra ID/Active Directory, and Microsoft Azure services.
• Experience leading enterprise technology transformations, cloud initiatives, platform migrations, infrastructure modernization, and large-scale technical projects.
• Strong knowledge of identity and access management, enterprise messaging, monitoring, automation, governance, cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and operational resiliency.
• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, communication, presentation, leadership, and systems-thinking skills, with the ability to travel as needed.

Nice to have

• Professional certifications such as Microsoft 365, Azure, MCSE, ITIL, or cybersecurity certifications.
• Master’s degree in a related technical discipline.
