Backend Team Lead - Scanner (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Lead execution across multiple workstreams and own sprint planning and delivery.
• Coordinate dependencies between engineering and other departments, removing blockers and improving team velocity.
• Own the technical design of scalable, reliable backend features from concept through production.
• Contribute hands-on to high-scale cloud development using AWS and MongoDB, including rigorous code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Customer Success, and customers on feature planning and technical discussions.
• Introduce AI-assisted coding, automated testing, and prompt-driven prototyping into the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Deep Node.js expertise and AWS familiarity are required.
• React experience is preferred; Python experience is a plus.
• Experience managing project execution and delivering end-to-end features in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders and lead a global team.
• Interest in applying AI technologies to improve developer experience and system performance.
