Solutions Architect - Australia (AI)

Cursor AI is building the Grok platform, including Grok Bot for knowledge work and business workflows and Grok Build (Cursor) for AI-native software development.

What you will do

• Roll out Grok Build across strategic engineering organizations and integrate it into codebases, developer environments, CI pipelines, testing, and code review.
• Discover knowledge-work and business-process use cases and redesign workflows around AI agents, enterprise tools, data, and human judgment.
• Establish data governance, enterprise security, ownership, integrations, guardrails, and reusable adoption patterns for company-wide deployment.
• Lead architecture reviews, technical working sessions, customer prototypes, system integrations, and debugging efforts.
• Build relationships with developers, platform teams, business leaders, executive sponsors, ADMs, Account Executives, Product, and Engineering.
• Measure customer impact, support adoption recovery and expansion, and bring enterprise requirements and deployment patterns into Product and Engineering.

Requirements

• Deep technical foundations across APIs, software architecture, cloud infrastructure, data, identity, security, and enterprise integrations.
• Strong understanding of developer workflows, SDLC tooling, continuous integration and delivery systems, code review, and enterprise engineering environments; hands-on experience with Cursor or similar AI coding tools is preferred within this requirement.
• Customer-facing technical experience as an SA, SE, FDE, TAM, enterprise architect, integration consultant, or in a similar role, including hands-on work with engineering teams and strategic work with technical leadership.
• Experience designing workflows spanning tools, data, APIs, and human processes, beyond IDE-centric developer workflows.
• Working knowledge of security and compliance, or a clear path to developing it, with the ability to explain scenario-based guardrails.
• Excellent communication across technical, executive, and business audiences, with strong discovery, workflow-design, and adoption-strategy instincts.
• High drive, ownership, curiosity, adaptability, systems thinking, strong preparation habits, and comfort with fast-moving ambiguity.
• Passion for developer tooling and the impact of AI on software engineering and knowledge work.
• Willingness to travel to customers as needed.
