Senior Forescout Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: United States; associated with NYU Langone facilities in the New York area

Salary: $101,493.51–$112,613.12 annually

What you will do

• Design, implement, administer, and optimize the enterprise Forescout platform, including policies, device classification, compliance enforcement, deployments, and integrations.
• Provide advanced operational support for Forescout, network, and endpoint issues, including root cause analysis and incident resolution.
• Integrate Forescout with Active Directory, SIEM, EDR, NAC, vulnerability management, and other security and infrastructure platforms.
• Implement secure access controls and support changes across Palo Alto Networks firewalls, F5 load balancers, and enterprise LAN/WAN environments.
• Develop technical documentation, operational procedures, and automation while contributing to architecture reviews, upgrades, and continuous improvement.
• Lead the management and support of Forescout and collaborate with cross-functional infrastructure and security teams.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional experience.
• BA or BS degree.
• Strong experience administering Forescout CounterACT and managing enterprise deployments.
• Working knowledge of Palo Alto Networks firewalls and F5 BIG-IP LTM/APM platforms.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, 802.1X, RADIUS, routing, switching, and network troubleshooting.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

Nice to have

• Experience with PowerShell or Python scripting.
• Familiarity with security operations processes.
• Participation in security industry conferences and forums.
