What you will do
- Lead multiple manufacturing teams through team leaders and supervisors to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people objectives.
- Ensure production plans meet customer demand and business commitments through KPI management, visual management, and daily operational reviews.
- Manage manufacturing, material, quality, capacity, and operational risks, including escalation management for critical issues.
- Develop leaders, support succession planning, coach manufacturing professionals, and build an accountable, collaborative, and inclusive performance culture.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence programs focused on productivity, cycle time, quality, capacity, and resource utilization.
- Partner with engineering, quality, EHS, business engineering, operations, and global organizations on factory performance and transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or operations management.
- At least 8 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, production management, or industrial engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience leading leaders, supervisors, or large operational teams.
- Proven operational results in a manufacturing environment, including cross-functional projects and organizational change initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, data analysis, performance management, strategic planning, and project leadership skills.
- Must be legally authorized to access technology controlled under United States Export Administration Regulations before beginning work.
Nice to have
- Experience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing, capital equipment, electronics, precision engineering, or advanced technology manufacturing.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Operational Excellence, or Toyota Production System methodologies.
- Experience supporting factory expansion, transformation, or ramp-up programs.
- Exposure to global matrix organizations and an MBA or master's degree.
