What you will do
- Manage a portfolio of strategic software vendor partnerships and ensure delivery against contractual, performance and commercial objectives.
- Monitor vendor performance, optimise software licence utilisation, identify cost-saving opportunities and maintain service quality.
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to resolve issues and maximise value for customers and colleagues.
- Lead contract governance, performance reviews, renewals, change control and continuous improvement throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Analyse commercial and operational data to generate insights and support decision-making.
- Identify innovation, growth and long-term value opportunities that support BT’s digital transformation.
Requirements
- Significant experience managing strategic partnerships, suppliers or vendors in a commercial, service management or procurement environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in contract management, supplier performance management and value realisation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across senior internal and external audiences.
- Proven ability to deliver growth, efficiency, cost optimisation or service improvement initiatives.
Nice to have
- Experience managing software, technology or digital service vendors.
- Knowledge of software licensing, licence optimisation and vendor governance.
- Experience with large-scale supplier portfolios, digital transformation programmes or complex organisations.
- Strong analytical skills and experience balancing commercial, operational, legal, regulatory and risk considerations.
- Familiarity with AI and emerging technologies.
