Product Procurement Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Rayong, Thailand; onsite five days a week

Manufacturing company developing industrial products and supply networks for customers worldwide.

What you will do

• Manage part development and quality feedback loops for New Product Introduction, Continuous Product Improvement, and New Source Introduction activities.
• Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning, cost management, and PPAP activities from concept through production.
• Collaborate with suppliers, design control engineers, value chain engineering, procurement category teams, packaging, transportation, supply chain, and business resources.
• Implement product supply strategies and develop an optimized, competitive supply network.
• Apply lessons learned from quality defects across the supplier base.
• Drive Value Analysis and Value Engineering through cost modeling, design for manufacturability, and supplier capabilities.

Requirements

• Must work onsite in Rayong, Thailand five days per week.
• Degree or equivalent experience is desired.
• Experience with data-driven decision-making, data analysis, KPI design, and metrics.
• Working knowledge of analytical thinking, root-cause analysis, supplier management, strategic sourcing, and supply chain management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal relationship skills for collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers.
