Government Affairs & Market Access Manager, Southeast Asia (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Monitor healthcare policies, legislation, reforms, funding initiatives, regulatory developments, public procurement practices, and tender policies across Southeast Asia.
• Develop and implement government affairs, advocacy, market access, reimbursement, and pricing strategies for new and existing products.
• Engage government agencies, payers, reimbursement bodies, patient and professional organizations, healthcare societies, and industry associations.
• Lead health economics, reimbursement filing, health technology assessment, value demonstration, and evidence-generation activities.
• Build coalitions and represent hirify.global in policy discussions, industry working groups, and external interest groups.
• Collaborate with commercial, medical, legal, regulatory affairs, regional, global, and country teams to support product launches and patient access.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, pharmacy, health economics, life sciences, healthcare management, political science, public policy, business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in government affairs, market access, public policy, healthcare economics, reimbursement, public affairs, or related functions.
• Strong knowledge of Southeast Asian healthcare systems, policy environments, reimbursement models, public procurement, HTA processes, and healthcare funding mechanisms.
• Experience in medical devices, healthcare technology, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare services, including engagement with government agencies, policymakers, industry associations, or reimbursement stakeholders.
• Local country language or at least one language from the cluster countries, plus good written and spoken business English, is required.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing, facilitation, negotiation, analytical, strategic, communication, writing, and organizational skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree such as MPH, MBA, MHA, Health Economics, or Public Policy.
• Experience in regional or multi-country roles.
