Senior Billing & Revenue Accountant (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end billing accuracy by validating source data, executing bulk imports, and generating client invoices in NetSuite.
• Identify missing or inconsistent billing data and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve issues before client impact.
• Manage outstanding balances and collections through YayPay while maintaining professional client relationships.
• Act as the billing point of contact for clients and respond to billing queries clearly and accurately.
• Post and reconcile accrued revenue entries to support an accurate and timely month-end close.
• Identify billing-cycle friction and help implement AI-driven process improvements.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience in a demanding billing environment, such as law firms, professional services, private equity, or fund administration.
• Experience working accurately and efficiently with large, multi-source datasets.
• Knowledge of revenue recognition principles, accrued revenue postings, and month-end close.
• AAT Level 4, part-qualified ACCA/CIMA, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Strong attention to detail, proactive communication, and professional client-facing skills.
• Ability to work in London, United Kingdom.

Nice to have

• Experience with NetSuite, YayPay, or comparable platforms.
• Professional experience using Claude or other AI tools.
