Senior Research Associate (Bioanalytical & Molecular Assays)

What you will do

• Perform bioanalytical assays for RNA quantitation in biological matrices using gel electrophoresis, ddPCR, qPCR, RT-qPCR, and related molecular and cellular biology techniques.
• Develop, qualify, validate, optimize, and transfer phase-appropriate assays supporting clinical pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic analyses.
• Isolate genomic DNA and RNA, review raw analytical data and reports, and ensure data integrity, scientific rigor, and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with internal and external laboratories, Clinical Operations, Sample Management, and development teams to support clinical trial sample journeys and laboratory manuals.
• Maintain equipment, critical reagents, SOPs, electronic laboratory notebooks, and supporting documentation.
• Improve laboratory efficiency and data interpretation through digital tools, automation, and Generative AI-enabled scientific workflows.

Requirements

• M.S. with at least 5 years of experience or B.S. with at least 8 years of experience in molecular biology or a relevant scientific discipline.
• Experience performing clinical molecular assays in bioanalytical and GCLP/GLP environments.
• Hands-on knowledge of molecular biology and nucleic acid characterization techniques, including gel electrophoresis, capillary electrophoresis, and qPCR.
• Knowledge of GCLP requirements, analytical science regulations, and current industry expectations.
• Ability to communicate program objectives and data analysis and present findings to colleagues and stakeholders.
