Sr. DevSecOps Engineer II (Cybersecurity)

Location: Reston, Virginia, United States. Employment requires verification of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.

Salary: $190,000–$260,000 per year, plus potential bonuses and additional incentives.

What you will do

• Design and implement automated technical solutions across multiple classified environments in collaboration with customers and internal teams.
• Build CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI and Jenkins with security scanning and STIG compliance validation.
• Create CloudFormation-based Infrastructure as Code for highly available and secure DevSecOps tooling across AWS GovCloud, C2S, and TC2S.
• Lead Linux troubleshooting, log analysis, root cause analysis, and mitigation of service degradation.
• Provide security guidance on secure coding, STIG compliance, vulnerability remediation, and ATO support.
• Build secure Docker and OpenShift solutions, remediate Prisma Cloud findings, conduct code reviews, and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly is required.
• IAT Level 2 certification is required, such as Security+, GSEC, or SSCP.
• 7+ years of DevSecOps or related experience across infrastructure automation, scalability, reliability, and classified domains such as IL5 and IL6+.
• Expert experience with DevOps, CI/CD, containerization, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Artifactory, SonarQube, or Prisma Cloud.
• Strong experience with Python or Bash, Linux, Infrastructure as Code, AWS architecture, and secure cloud services.
• Experience with STIG/SRG compliance, security frameworks such as OWASP and NIST, customer support, ticketing systems, and cross-functional stakeholder communication.
