Location: Onsite in the Lehi, Utah office; regular in-office work is expected under company policies.
Annual base salary: $82,000–$123,000 USD, with possible incentive pay and/or equity.

What you will do
- Support configuration, tuning, and health checks for security tools across cloud and endpoint environments.
- Write and maintain Python scripts and small integrations for API data retrieval, recurring reports, finding cleanup, and tool connectivity.
- Use Splunk and other telemetry platforms to run queries, validate data sources, and support investigations with Security Operations.
- Participate in security design and configuration reviews and document technical decisions.
- Maintain accurate security standards, diagrams, and operational runbooks as systems evolve.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience.
- Working knowledge of operating systems, especially Linux, TCP/IP networking, authentication, encryption, and least privilege.
- Hands-on exposure through coursework, internships, labs, CTFs, personal projects, or open-source contributions.
- Experience working at the command line, modifying code, and using a public cloud environment such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Ability to read and write basic Python or a similar programming language, with interest in developing production-quality automation.
- Methodical troubleshooting, clear technical documentation, communication, and openness to feedback; prior professional security experience is not required.
