Senior Cloud Security Engineer (DevSecOps/Multi-Cloud)

Location: Remote within the United States, except California. Occasional travel of 5% may be required, and onsite interviews or in-person onboarding may be required.

What you will do

• Design and implement cloud security solutions aligned with business, security, and compliance requirements.
• Build and maintain secure CI/CD workflows using GitHub repositories, GitHub Actions, GitOps, and Security as Code practices.
• Engineer and operate Cloud Security Posture Management solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Build, test, validate, and promote cloud security controls and guardrails into production workloads.
• Use Terraform and Python to manage security infrastructure, monitoring, remediation, CI/CD integrations, and guardrail enforcement.
• Collaborate on architecture reviews, threat modeling, vendor recommendations, documentation, and cloud security strategy.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in software development, DevOps, or Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience building secure CI/CD workflows with GitHub and/or GitOps operating patterns.
• Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management engineering.
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing containerized applications.
• Practical experience with Terraform in declarative service infrastructure environments.
• Experience working in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP cloud environments.

Nice to have

• Production experience with Google Cloud Platform and serverless remediation using AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or GCP Cloud Functions.
• Production programming experience in Go or Python and familiarity with Unix/Linux shells.
• Experience with cloud security architecture, threat modeling, change control, mentoring, peer reviews, and technical leadership.
• Certifications such as Google PCSE, AWS Security, AZ-500, CKS, CCSP, CISSP, or CCSK.
