Staff Software Engineer (AI)

Salary: $192,000–$260,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Define the strategy for customer onboarding, workspace experiences, account management, and other horizontal product experiences.
• Lead a team of approximately 20 software engineers in building scalable onboarding flows, user experiences, and partner integrations.
• Partner with product management, design, and engineering teams to deliver intuitive, extensible solutions that support product-led growth.
• Make architectural decisions focused on performance, reliability, simplicity, and seamless integration.
• Contribute hands-on to full-stack software development and drive design reviews, code quality, testing, and performance optimization practices.
• Collaborate with teams working on the Lakehouse Platform, SQL Warehouse, AI/BI Dashboards, and infrastructure.

Requirements

• 15+ years of software engineering experience with a strong record of technical leadership and impact.
• 5+ years of engineering management experience, including managing managers.
• Expertise in frontend or full-stack development.
• Experience designing and building scalable SaaS platforms, onboarding flows, or customer growth-focused product experiences.
• Expertise in distributed systems, cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP, and modern web application architectures.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and interest in the data intelligence space.
