Community Management Consultant - English (Anime & UK Culture Knowledge)

What you will do

• Work daily with client contacts, project management, social media managers, and internal stakeholders.
• Design and execute weekly and quarterly content calendars and strategy plans.
• Brainstorm campaigns, activities, and content to grow and engage online communities.
• Manage and respond to customers across forums, websites, Discord, and social media platforms.
• Create KPI reports covering performance, trends, and growth opportunities.
• Translate, trans-create, and localize content while supporting community initiatives and handling escalations.

Requirements

• Native English speaker with strong knowledge of UK culture and the UK marketing region, including personal experience living or working in the supported market.
• Professional experience managing communities, social media, or brand accounts, with at least 4 years of Social or Community Management experience preferred.
• Professional translation and localization experience into the native language.
• Experience with forums, Discord, Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
• Strong creative writing, editorial, communication, organization, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Passion for anime and manga, including strong knowledge of the anime and manga community.

Nice to have

• Experience with Snapchat, TikTok, Twitch, YouTube, or other social platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience as a Junior Community Manager or Lead Community Manager.
