What you will do

• Build and extend core Databricks infrastructure components.
• Architect multi-cloud systems to run on top of existing cloud providers.
• Improve software development workflows for engineering and operational efficiency.
• Analyze build and test logs using the Databricks platform to identify improvements.
• Develop automated build, test, and release infrastructures.
• Set and uphold engineering process standards including code quality and release packaging.

Requirements

• Must be located in or willing to work remotely from the US.
• BS or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of production coding experience in Java, Scala, Go, C++, or Python.
• Experience building scalable, reliable distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud APIs and technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as per US federal contractor requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with Bazel build system.
• Familiarity with network security and encryption.
