Head of Business Execution, North America

Location: New York office, hybrid working model

US annualized base salary: $250,000–$260,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual performance-related bonus.

What you will do

• Own and continuously evolve the North America operating model, operating cadence, governance forums, and accountability frameworks.
• Lead business planning, performance management, resource allocation, and execution against strategic, operational, and financial objectives.
• Translate the North America Mid-Term Plan into actionable initiatives, measurable outcomes, and course corrections.
• Evaluate growth opportunities, investments, partnerships, acquisitions, portfolio development, automation, and market expansion initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional transformation programs that improve execution, transparency, customer focus, and organizational effectiveness.
• Represent the President, North America, in executive forums and coordinate strategic initiatives across regional, functional, and global stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an MBA or advanced degree is strongly preferred.
• 12–15+ years of leadership experience in strategy, operations, consulting, transformation, corporate development, business management, or related fields.
• Experience leading large-scale strategic initiatives, business transformation, performance management, financial planning, resource allocation, and operational risk.
• Experience operating at senior executive level and influencing across complex matrix organizations without direct authority.
• Strong business, commercial, analytical, communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity, lead organizational change, build governance frameworks, and foster high-performance cultures.

Nice to have

• Experience in scholarly publishing, information services, media, healthcare, higher education, consulting, or related industries.
• Experience in a Chief of Staff, Strategy & Operations, Business Management, Transformation, or General Management role.
• Familiarity with research, academic, healthcare, policy, or knowledge-based markets.
