Physical Therapist-Inpatient Part Time Days

Location: Catherine Gratz Griffin Lake Forest Hospital, 900 N. Westmoreland, Lake Forest, Illinois, United States. Part-time, 20 hours per week, with weekend and holiday rotation.

Salary: $40.14–$58.21 per hour

What you will do

• Provide direct inpatient physical therapy and manage patient care from initial evaluation through discharge.
• Select appropriate evaluations, treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols; perform re-evaluations and adjust treatment plans.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, daily treatment responses, and discharge summaries in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with physical therapist assistants, physicians, nurses, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and contribute to committees, process improvement, clinical projects, and departmental training.
• Support clinical students and interns through instruction, mentoring, or observation programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the State of Illinois.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
• Ability to meet department productivity, documentation, scheduling, and patient-care standards.
• Ability to work weekend and holiday rotations and flex the schedule when patient-care or department needs require it.

Nice to have

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
