AI/ML Engineer

Location: McLean, Virginia, United States; in-office role

Salary: $49,996.80–$290,004.00 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, evaluate, and deploy AI/ML models and ensembles.
• Build solutions for generative AI, classification, prediction, computer vision, natural language processing, and reinforcement learning.
• Provide AI/ML engineering services for customer initiatives.
• Develop, tune, validate, benchmark, and deploy models in cloud environments.
• Apply model explainability and interpretability techniques.

Requirements

• US citizenship and an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with Polygraph are required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience with Python or R for AI/ML development.
• At least 5 years of experience with major cloud computing providers and cloud-based AI/ML development and deployment.
• At least 5 years of experience developing and deploying AI/ML models, including tuning, experimentation, validation, and benchmarking.
• Experience with AI/ML explainability, enterprise security controls, data management practices, and verification and validation test benches.

Nice to have

• Experience with Flask or similar web development frameworks.
• Experience with Tableau for visualizations and dashboards.
• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras.
• Experience with GitHub or other version control systems.
