Cybersecurity (ISSM)

Location: Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio, United States

Supports Air Force ISR and Special Operations Forces acquisition programs, including the development, testing, fielding, and sustainment of platforms and subsystems.

What you will do

• Provide cybersecurity engineering support for traditional acquisition programs and rapid acquisition capabilities.
• Implement all phases of the Risk Management Framework for weapon systems handling unclassified and classified information.
• Develop and analyze cybersecurity engineering artifacts for Assessment and Authorization and successful Authority to Operate decisions.
• Develop cybersecurity strategies, system security plans, Platform Information Technology determination packages, RMF artifacts, and continuous-monitoring processes.
• Evaluate system architectures, designs, threat data, vulnerabilities, residual risks, and proposed security solutions throughout the acquisition lifecycle.
• Support interoperability reviews, Program Protection Plans, Anti-Tamper plans, technical recommendations, and protection of critical program information and technologies.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen and hold an active Top Secret clearance.
• Master’s or doctorate degree with 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in the Department of Defense; or bachelor’s degree with 12 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in the Department of Defense; or 15 years of directly related experience with applicable certifications, including 8 years in the Department of Defense.
• CISSP certification is required; CAP, now CGRC, certification is also required for the cybersecurity engineering responsibilities.
• Experience with Risk Management Frameworks, cybersecurity strategies, cyber-resilient systems of systems, systems engineering, network engineering, and technical interface design.
• Ability to work with classified information systems, including SIPRNet and JWICS.
• Travel requirement: 10%.
