Cybersecurity Specialist (Aerospace): Supporting cybersecurity engineering and Risk Management Framework activities for C-130 avionics and integrated weapon systems with an accent on security artifacts, vulnerability analysis, and authorization processes. Focus on developing program protection strategies, identifying subsystem risks, and ensuring cybersecurity controls and mitigations support IATT and ATO approvals.
Location: Hybrid at Warner-Robins AFB in Warner Robins, Georgia; occasional travel of approximately 15% required

What you will do
- Support and advise the C-130 Information System Security Manager on cybersecurity strategies and program protection planning.
- Develop cybersecurity engineering artifacts required for Interim Authorizations to Test and Authorizations to Operate under the Risk Management Framework.
- Review program documentation, requirements, designs, manuals, reports, schedules, and change documentation to verify security requirements are addressed.
- Analyze integrated weapon-system components, including software, hardware, data, and data environments, to identify cybersecurity requirements, vulnerabilities, and risks.
- Recommend safeguards, risk mitigations, survivability, and interoperability solutions for avionics and aircraft subsystems.
- Verify cybersecurity controls, testing, and mitigations comply with Risk Management Framework requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, plus 4–6 years of Information Systems Security experience; equivalent experience may substitute for the degree.
- Certification such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or an equivalent credential.
- Experience with Risk Management Framework, developmental program life-cycle support, and collaboration with weapon-system program offices.
- Experience with weapon-system or airborne-platform software, avionics, or networking.
- C-130 or similar fixed-wing military aircraft experience.
- U.S. citizenship and an active Secret DoD clearance are required.

- Familiarity with DoD 5000.02 acquisition policies and processes.
