Cyber Systems Engineer / RMF – IA Trainer

Location: Westfields, Virginia, United States; no remote or telework allowed. Customer core hours are 09:00–15:00, Monday–Friday.

Salary: $115,575.93–$200,964.12 annually. A separate listing also states $5,000.

hirify.global provides systems engineering and technical assistance to national customers, including cybersecurity, information assurance, and risk management support.

What you will do

• Develop, adapt, and deliver information assurance training with customers, training staff, and subject-matter experts.
• Coordinate training-session planning, registration, delivery, and follow-up.
• Create and update training materials for cybersecurity and information assurance tools, capabilities, and processes.
• Provide training on ServiceNow, the Risk Management Framework, continuous monitoring, privileged users, and information system owner responsibilities.
• Prepare agendas, marketing materials, and content for Cybersecurity Awareness Month and quarterly awareness events.
• Develop new training topics, content, and supporting materials.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, 6–8 years with a master’s degree, or 3–5 years with a PhD.
• Must possess and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Must work onsite in Westfields, Virginia and support customer core hours from 09:00 to 15:00, Monday–Friday.
• 8570/8140 information assurance certification and experience with the RMF process.
• Experience delivering training and presentations in person and virtually.
• Strong written and oral communication, attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.

Nice to have

• STEM bachelor’s degree or advanced information assurance certification such as CISSP or CASP.
• Experience supporting the Intelligence Community or Department of Defense in cybersecurity, acquisition, or project management.
• Experience as an ISSO, ISSM, SCA, or Delegated Authorization Official Representative.
• Experience with ServiceNow and Splunk, cloud technologies, access management processes, or the customer’s training platform.
• Basic instructor certification.
