Information Systems Security Engineering (ISSE) (Cybersecurity)

Location: Charleston, SC, United States; onsite role. Candidates must be US citizens or authorized to work in the US and able to obtain and maintain a US Department of Defense security clearance.

What you will do

• Manage Navy-required Risk Management Framework efforts for multiple Navy Enterprise Network projects.
• Conduct cybersecurity analysis, certification, testing, mitigation, remediation, and monitoring across multiple platforms and security enclaves.
• Develop Security Authorization Packages and the required body of evidence, including SSP, SCTM, SAP, SAR, RAR, and POA&M documentation.
• Record and manage Assessment and Authorization activities in eMASS.
• Monitor corrective actions and drive POA&M items through closure.
• Collaborate with IT engineers, system administrators, security engineers, and government stakeholders to resolve security requirements and compliance issues.

Requirements

• Active DoD Secret security clearance and current access to SIPRNET and eMASS-C required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD security clearance required.
• DoD-approved 8570/8140 baseline certification.
• Bachelor of Science degree in IT or a computer-related field.
• 10+ years of Navy Assessment and Authorization experience, including policy development, control testing, POA&M management, and configuration management.
• 10+ years supporting an IT enterprise environment in a cybersecurity, systems administration, engineering, or management capacity, including RMF packages for classified systems and assessments using CIS Benchmarks and DISA STIGs.
