Data Scientist (Python/Tableau)

Location: McLean, Virginia; in-office position

Salary: $49,996.80–$290,004.00 per year

What you will do

• Provide data analysis services, including data graphics and dashboards.
• Identify challenges and opportunities through structured data analysis.
• Use coding skills and Tableau to transform unstructured data into actionable insights.
• Support customer decision-making related to production, resources, and personnel.

Requirements

• US citizenship and an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with Polygraph are required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Five years of experience in data analytics, including relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB, and SQL querying.
• Five years of experience using Python or R with relevant libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, or Matplotlib.
• Five years of experience with time-series data analysis and data visualization.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tableau Prep.
• Experience using Splunk, including automated processes.
• Experience with enterprise services, security controls, and data management practices.
