Manager Product Solutions (Healthcare Insurance)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States

Salary: $102,000–$184,300 per year, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Manage multiple strategic, cross-enterprise implementations with varying complexity and business importance.
• Drive product development, expansion, maintenance, and operational effectiveness throughout the product lifecycle.
• Evaluate product innovation opportunities and develop product line strategy.
• Lead complex corporate projects, including multi-million-dollar and multi-year business and technology implementations.
• Develop product portfolio roadmaps aligned with organizational strategy, customer needs, and financial objectives.
• Partner with senior management and stakeholders across departments to create alignment and execute product initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience, or 10 years of relevant experience in strategic planning, research, project management, product administration, product operations, or healthcare.
• Experience managing people or projects, including staff mentoring and complex project delivery.
• Experience with project management methods, financial estimating, budgeting, and implementation planning.
• Strong analytical, organizational, presentation, facilitation, communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience developing relationships with senior management and stakeholders across multiple departments.
• Understanding of the software development life cycle and business/process integration.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, public health, finance, or a related field.
• Extensive knowledge of healthcare insurance, market trends, regulations, product innovation, and competitive dynamics.
• Experience leading product portfolio strategy, investment prioritization, optimization, and lifecycle decisions.
• Knowledge of healthcare product economics, including pricing, profitability, underwriting, and business case development.
