Sr. Trade Compliance Specialist - IMMEX

What you will do

• Lead the Mexico IMMEX compliance program, including Annex 24, Annex 30, VUCEM, customs reporting, and regulatory oversight.
• Represent the organization during SAT and Mexican Customs audits.
• Develop compliance frameworks, policies, procedures, controls, and monitoring processes.
• Assess and mitigate risks related to inventory controls, VAT balances, customs reporting, material discharges, aging inventory, and scrap management.
• Lead corrective actions, root-cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Optimize and automate trade compliance systems while advising business leaders on USMCA/T-MEC, TPL, and other preferential trade programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Law, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in IMMEX compliance, Mexican Customs regulations, Annex 24 and Annex 30, VUCEM, SAT audit management, and trade compliance programs.
• Advanced knowledge of IMMEX regulations, Mexican Customs Law, VAT compliance, customs inventory controls, and preferential trade agreements.
• Experience leading audits, compliance projects, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience with SAP, I-Export, or similar trade compliance systems.
• Professional fluency in English is required.
