Legal Commercial Counsel (Technology, Data & AI)

What you will do

• Lead negotiations on complex technology and data transactions, including software and data licenses, financial product licenses, managed services agreements and redistribution arrangements under New York law.
• Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice aligned with hirify.global’s products, commercial priorities, policies and risk tolerances.
• Partner with commercial, product and other business teams to advance client relationships and transactions while managing legal risk.
• Create and evolve contract templates, clauses and legal frameworks for new products and business models.
• Support contracting transformation by automating front-office processes and using hirify.global’s AI systems in legal practice.
• Contribute to global innovation initiatives and broader strategic legal projects.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant legal experience gained in-house, at a leading law firm or through a combination of both.
• Meaningful experience negotiating technology and intellectual property transactions.
• Qualification to practice in-house in New York.
• Ability to manage multiple complex agreements, stakeholders and priorities independently.
• Strong legal judgment, drafting, communication, project management and relationship-building skills.
• Practical, execution-oriented approach and ability to learn sophisticated products and commercial models quickly.
