Automation Developer Analyst Lead (QA Automation)

What you will do

• Provide technical direction within the automation application domain and coordinate testing activities.
• Translate functional requirements into test cases, automate them, and maintain the automation framework.
• Write, review, and maintain automation scripts for reports, data management, environment setup, and software delivery.
• Manage defects, facilitate defect review meetings, and support production validation.
• Participate in requirements, product design, and project discussions to improve testing strategies and delivery efficiency.
• Train organization members on automation practices, technical standards, and industry methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; a degree in computer science, CIS, or engineering is preferred.
• At least 5 years of quality assurance, testing, verification, and validation experience.
• At least 3 years of experience building automation scripts with Cucumber or SpecFlow; 5+ years of automation experience is preferred.
• Experience designing automation frameworks and working with Ruby, Cucumber, SpecFlow, C#, or Java.
• Knowledge of SQL Server or Oracle databases, web technologies, HTML, JavaScript, and service or database testing.
• Ability to explain system issues clearly, collaborate effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Team Foundation Server, Microsoft Test Manager, SOAP UI, RubyMine, Ruby gems, mainframes, MVC frameworks, or JMeter.
• Active participation in the open-source Ruby development community.
