Director, Systems Analysis (Quality Engineering Capabilities)

Location: Hybrid, with attendance at the Columbus, Ohio; Des Moines, Iowa; or Scottsdale, Arizona office two days per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Remote internal associates may also be considered. The position may be filled within any of the lower 48 U.S. states.

Salary: National range of $149,000–$262,000 annually; expected starting range of $149,000–$223,000 annually.

What you will do

• Define and drive enterprise strategy, standards, governance, and enablement for quality engineering and requirements analysis.
• Set the direction for AI-enabled testing, intelligent test design, test automation, self-service test data, and requirements-to-test traceability.
• Lead requirements management, quality engineering, release testing, regression testing, performance testing, security testing, and complex defect resolution.
• Establish practices that support more frequent releases while maintaining security, quality, resilience, and risk controls.
• Define and track adoption, effectiveness, quality, delivery velocity, and business value metrics for technology investments.
• Hire, coach, and manage Technology Analysis associates while influencing stakeholders across Software Engineering, Architecture, Security, and business leadership.

Requirements

• More than 10 years of experience delivering technology-enabled business solutions and transformational change, including technology analysis, business transformation planning, requirements management, and test automation.
• Experience across industries, platforms, and lines of business within insurance and/or financial services, or equivalent experience.
• Strong software engineering mindset with advanced analytical, communication, planning, influencing, relationship-building, negotiation, and prioritization skills.
• Experience leading teams, managing performance, developing talent, and overseeing quality of delivered work; the role is responsible for 3–8 direct and indirect reports.
• Ability to apply secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Undergraduate study in computer science, management information systems, or a related field is preferred; technology certifications are encouraged but not required.
