Government Affairs Manager (Defense Technology)

Salary: $110,500–$154,500 USD annually base salary

What you will do

• Support Congressional and Executive engagement strategy.
• Build relationships with key Members of Congress, the National Security Council, and Pentagon civilian leadership.
• Translate complex technical issues into compelling policy narratives.
• Contribute to the growth of political operations.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in government affairs, defense policy, or related roles.
• Strong record of influencing policy and regulatory outcomes.
• Deep knowledge of the U.S. defense ecosystem, including DoD procurement, congressional appropriations, and national security policy.
• Existing relationships within Congress, the Department of Defense, and relevant regulatory agencies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and public speaking skills.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Nice to have

• Legislative and Executive Branch experience, preferably with the Department of Defense.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
