TL;DR
Experiences Lead (AI events): Building and delivering Etched’s physical-world presence across conferences, recruiting events, product launches, partner experiences, and internal gatherings with an accent on creative direction, production, logistics, and vendor management. Focus on designing polished in-person experiences, coordinating executives and external partners, and balancing creative ambition with budget discipline and operational precision.
Location: San Jose, California, United States; on-site. Relocation support is available for candidates moving to San Jose.

What you will do
- Lead events cohosted with investors, including planning, logistics, and attendee experience.
- Build the annual product launch keynote with compelling storytelling, polished presentations, and live demonstrations.
- Plan open labs, recruiting events, industry conferences, and public-facing brand experiences.
- Organize internal offsites, town halls, quarterly company gatherings, and major celebrations.
- Coordinate guest speaker events, including scheduling, logistics, and attendee experience.
- Own events from concept through execution, including creative direction, production, vendors, budgets, and measurement.
Requirements
- Experience in events, experiential marketing, recruiting events, or event production.
- Impeccable taste and a portfolio of thoughtful, highly polished experiences.
- Exceptional attention to detail and composure when plans change.
- Experience managing varied event formats and audiences, from executive dinners to large conferences.
- Ability to balance creative ambition with budget discipline and operational precision.
- Comfort working with executives, engineers, recruiters, agencies, and external partners; occasional travel is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with technical recruiting, university, or executive events.
- Experience producing live demonstrations or events in lab and hardware environments.
- Relationships with leading venues, production agencies, and experiential partners.
- Experience connecting events to measurable recruiting, brand, or business outcomes.
