What you will do
- Develop automated test software for laboratory instrumentation, including signal generators, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, and network equipment.
- Implement system-level and component-level test sequences across hardware and software environments.
- Design DUT control software for command handling, telemetry ingestion, and state management.
- Build reusable automation frameworks, scripts, tools, and utilities that reduce manual intervention and improve test engineering productivity.
- Design and maintain scalable test automation infrastructure, shared libraries, and reusable components across configurations and environments.
- Collaborate with systems, hardware, and software teams to improve testability, integration readiness, reliability, and development cycle time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, test automation, or related roles.
- Experience developing software that interfaces with hardware systems or laboratory instrumentation.
- Proficiency in Python, C, C++, or similar languages, with experience in test automation framework and infrastructure development.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, automated test frameworks, hardware/software integration, system-level testing, instrumentation control, and data acquisition.
- Must be eligible under U.S. space technology export regulations as a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, conditional resident, asylee, refugee, or other protected individual, or be eligible to obtain the required U.S. authorizations.
