Location: Required to work in the Fort Worth, Texas office; the role includes travel of up to 20% for position-associated missions and training sessions. Applicants must be U.S. persons due to federal deemed export controls and ITAR compliance.
Salary: $6,666.67–$7,500 monthly, approximately $80,000.04–$90,000 annually. Salary depends on education and experience.

What you will do
- Manage assigned CAAT projects and task orders from initiation through execution and closeout.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverable trackers, action item logs, risk and issue registers, and project records.
- Coordinate activities across CAAT staff, ARI offices, consortium members, subcontractors, external partners, subject matter experts, and public-agency stakeholders.
- Lead project kickoffs, recurring meetings, technical interchange meetings, partner meetings, and closeout sessions.
- Support project status reports, sponsor-facing reporting inputs, proposals, RFP responses, statements of work, and task order planning.
- Facilitate working groups and consortium activities while coordinating finance, contracting, research administration, purchasing, and operational support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field and seven years of related experience; a master’s degree with five years or a doctoral degree with three years may substitute.
- Experience with project schedules, action item tracking, risk and issue logs, deliverable trackers, status reports, or project dashboards.
- Experience supporting project closeout, lessons learned, final reports, or sponsor-facing deliverable packages.
- Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, critical thinking, proactive problem solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to work across federal, state, local, university, and public-agency environments.
- Must work in the Fort Worth, Texas office, be able to travel up to 20%, lift 50 pounds, and occasionally work outdoors.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree or higher in project management, business administration, aviation, or a related field.
- Project management certification or formal project management training.
- Experience with federally sponsored projects, aviation, autonomy, transportation, public-sector technology, research operations, or university research administration.
- Experience facilitating working groups, technical teams, consortium meetings, or other multi-stakeholder activities.
