Labor & Delivery Tech Mother Baby Part Time Days

Location: 10400 Haligus Rd, Huntley, Illinois, United States; onsite day shift

Salary: USD 25.02–36.28 per hour

What you will do

• Provide basic nursing care to non-critically ill patients under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Perform vital signs, skin care, personal care, ambulation, positioning, admissions, discharges, and patient transport.
• Collect and label specimens, handle blood and blood components, and monitor drains and tubes.
• Maintain clean patient rooms, restock supplies, and follow infection control and standard precaution procedures.
• Operate and clean equipment safely while performing technical duties within the labor and delivery technician scope of practice.
• Communicate patient status changes, pain, distress, and other observations promptly to the registered nurse.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Ability to perform patient care and technical duties under registered nurse supervision.
• Ability to work onsite in Huntley, Illinois, during day shifts.

Nice to have

• Labor and delivery technician experience.
• Surgical technician or scrub technician experience.
