Senior GIS Data Analyst (ArcGIS)

What you will do

• Create, analyze, edit, and maintain GIS data for fiber optic and HFC network mapping.
• Develop and maintain GIS datasets, geodatabases, applications, and spatial data inventories using ESRI tools.
• Update parcel data, create maps, perform data cleanup, and manage coordinate geometry information.
• Research county, state, and federal records and interpret maps, aerial photographs, and construction as-builts.
• Support GIS projects, standards, specifications, and technical requests from Legal, Market Expansion, design, engineering, construction, and operations teams.
• Maintain accurate inventories of fiber route assets, infrastructure capacities, and network status in line with GIS best practices.

Requirements

• Work location: Remote USA.
• At least 5 years of experience with ESRI platforms, including ArcGIS and ArcFM.
• Strong cartographic skills using ArcGIS Pro and experience producing digital and printed map products.
• Bachelor’s degree with a focus on GIS.
• Experience creating or updating overlay maps, utility locations, boundaries, topographic features, coordinate systems, and geodetic projections.
• Strong organization, communication, customer service, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python and SQL.
• Experience with MyWorld, ArcFM, and AutoCAD.
• Understanding of outside plant design and construction techniques.
