Proposal Development Specialist (Field Service)

Location: Remote, based in various locations across the United States. The role is listed in Orlando, Florida, and requires legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Salary: $84,800–$121,000 annually, plus a 10% annual incentive target.

What you will do

• Manage proposal development from opportunity identification through handover to the execution team, with a focus on Field Service sales support.
• Develop cost estimates, financial analyses, and value-based proposals for revamps, upgrades, turnarounds, installation, commissioning, and long-term projects.
• Evaluate RFQs, RFPs, and work scopes to confirm requirements and prepare complete, accurate, and compliant proposals.
• Coordinate cost, scope, schedule, and value inputs across Product Lines, Regions, Business Units, and Segment Management.
• Facilitate bid/no-bid decisions, kickoff meetings, strategy reviews, approval processes, and handoff meetings.
• Maintain proposal records, provide status updates, manage stakeholder feedback, and support governance and execution handover.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in field service, accounting, finance, sales, engineering, or proposal management.
• Experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical, or power generation industries.
• Strong financial, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and quality-focused skills with close attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and changing customer requirements in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization is required.

• Additional experience may be considered for a more senior level.
