Senior Manager, Corporate Development & Strategy

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; hybrid work with at least two days per week in person at an assigned hirify.global office

Salary: $142,500–$237,500 annually

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional due diligence and integration planning for strategic initiatives and domestic and global M&A transactions.
• Conduct transaction analysis, financial modeling, valuation, returns analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
• Prepare executive-level presentations, Basis of Interest materials, CEO updates, Board materials, and corporate development reports.
• Define acquisition target criteria, prioritize target universes, and maintain the acquisition pipeline.
• Develop market insights through research, market mapping, market sizing, and evaluation of M&A and partnership opportunities.
• Partner with business-unit leaders, functional experts, senior executives, external clients, and strategic partners on complex initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–4 years of experience at McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, or Bain & Company is required.
• Five to seven years of total professional experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of corporate strategy and M&A, with advanced financial acumen.
• Leadership, ownership, project management, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and analytical skills.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for influencing stakeholders and developing C-suite materials.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills, including financial modeling, valuation, and executive presentation development.

Nice to have

• Investment banking or corporate development experience.
• Experience in information services, financial services, or digital industries.
• Experience developing acquisition pipelines, market maps, target-screening criteria, integration plans, or acquisition performance reports.
