Vice President of Impact

Location: Chicago, IL; hybrid schedule based at the regional center. Regular travel to organizational locations, partner sites, and throughout the organization's 13-county service area is required, including occasional nights and weekends. Depehirify.globalble transportation is required.

What you will do

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for agency partnerships, programs, and Build Healthy Communities initiatives.
• Strengthen the capacity, effectiveness, sustainability, and engagement of the member agency network.
• Oversee the development, implementation, evaluation, compliance, and continuous improvement of hunger-relief programs.
• Build partnerships with healthcare providers, community organizations, municipalities, schools, coalitions, and other stakeholders.
• Develop impact measurement and reporting systems using qualitative and quantitative data, community insight, and partner feedback.
• Lead and develop the Director of Agencies, Director of Programs, and Director of Community Nutrition Programs while contributing to organizational planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in nonprofit management, community programs, public health, human services, social services, network engagement, program leadership, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience leading managers, directors, or multiple functions.
• Experience building community partnerships, leading program strategies, strengthening partner networks, and managing complex initiatives.
• Experience with performance measurement, evaluation, outcome reporting, and data-informed decision-making.
• Strong strategic thinking, relationship-building, facilitation, communication, change leadership, and people leadership skills, with a demonstrated commitment to equity, accessibility, dignity, inclusion, and mission-driven work.
