Python PL/SQL Developer

Location: Hybrid, two days per week in Porto or Lisbon, Portugal

What you will do

• Develop clean, maintainable Python applications following software engineering best practices.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and PL/SQL logic.
• Use Linux command-line tools to navigate environments, execute scripts, and support development workflows.
• Apply established design patterns to build scalable and consistent solutions.
• Contribute to automated build, testing, deployment, and release workflows using Jenkins, Sonar, and XL Deploy.
• Work within a DevOps-oriented consulting environment across client engagements.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a Python Developer.
• Strong Python programming skills and knowledge of software engineering principles.
• Advanced SQL and PL/SQL proficiency.
• Working knowledge of Linux command-line environments and design patterns.
• Experience with Jenkins, Sonar, XL Deploy, CI/CD, and DevOps processes.
• Fluent English at B2 level; based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit.
