Senior/Lead C++ Engineer

Location: Ukraine; work format: remote/office

What you will do

• Maintain and extend the C routing and session-detection engine, including wire-level SIP and RTP/RTCP protocol decoders.
• Work with the C++/CORBA management plane and distributed-object middleware components.
• Diagnose issues using libpcap and Wireshark captures, AddressSanitizer, Valgrind, and fuzzing.
• Support integrations with SBC vendors including Oracle/Acme, Sonus/Ribbon, AudioCodes, Avaya, and Polycom.
• Modernize legacy C/C++ builds, establish CMake-based or equivalent workflows, and build CI pipelines.
• Operate the PostgreSQL datastore and collaborate across C, C++, Java, and database subsystems on FreeBSD.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a C/C++ engineer.
• Proven experience with SIP and RTP/RTCP at the wire level, plus strong libpcap and Wireshark skills.
• Strong C++ proficiency, including pre-C++11 codebases, and knowledge of distributed-object or middleware technologies.
• Experience with networking or telecommunications and knowledge of FreeBSD userland.
• Experience modernizing legacy C/C++ builds, working with CMake or equivalent, constructing CI pipelines, and using PostgreSQL.
• Upper-intermediate English or higher required.

Nice to have

• Strong CORBA knowledge, including omniORB, TAO, or ACE.
• Familiarity with routing protocol internals.
