Product Owner – Trust Services (eIDAS2, EUDI Wallet & Trust Platform)

Location: Berlin or Munich, Germany, or Rennes, France; regular onsite gatherings are expected.

What you will do

• Own the product goal, roadmap and backlog for a technical Trust Services product area.
• Lead backlog refinement, Sprint Planning support, Reviews and outcome tracking within a Scrum team.
• Translate customer, operational, regulatory and engineering needs into journeys, business rules, APIs, data states and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with Engineering, Architecture, Security, QA and Operations on scalability, resilience, observability, incidents and operational readiness.
• Govern identity and audit-data flows, secure API integrations, data protection, retention, releases, migrations, deprecation and rollback.
• Apply eIDAS2, EUDI Wallet, QES, QEAA/EAA and trust-service requirements in collaboration with Compliance, Legal, Risk and subject-matter experts.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Technical Product Management, Business Analysis or similar software and service delivery roles.
• Hands-on Scrum or comparable agile delivery experience, including Product Goals, ordered backlogs, acceptance criteria, refinement and scope decisions.
• Strong technical fluency with REST APIs, JSON, OpenAPI, authentication and authorization, OAuth2/OIDC, webhooks or event streams, data models and API lifecycle management.
• Experience translating regulatory, security, privacy and audit requirements into actionable product requirements for regulated software and services.
• Understanding of secure service delivery, access control, encryption, key management, vulnerability handling, monitoring, incident response and resilience.
• Experience with data lifecycle management, privacy by design, service operations, migrations, deprecation and post-incident learning.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, telecommunications, public sector, payments, KYC/AML, digital identity, electronic signatures, PKI or trust services.
• Familiarity with eIDAS2, EUDI Wallets, ETSI standards or QTSP operating models.
