AP Specialist (On-site Bayer)

Location: St. Louis, Missouri, United States; hybrid schedule with on-site work at Bayer.

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day accounts payable activities for multiple vendor accounts.
• Review, enter, and process high-volume invoices accurately and on schedule.
• Validate rates, pricing, and billing terms against contracts, purchase orders, statements of work, and supporting documentation.
• Perform true-ups, reconciliations, account adjustments, and invoice discrepancy investigations.
• Coordinate with procurement, finance, internal business partners, and vendors to resolve exceptions and payment issues.
• Maintain audit trails, monitor payment schedules, and identify improvements to AP processes and controls.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work in the hybrid, on-site Bayer arrangement in St. Louis, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with LTL, TL, bulk freight pay, and billing.
• Familiarity with SAP, BlueYonder, and SmartPay.
