Intern - Tax Analyst (AI)

Location: Fort Worth, Texas, United States; hybrid schedule with two days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Prepare consolidated corporate tax adjustments for quarterly tax provisions.
• Prepare state income and franchise tax returns and estimated tax payments.
• Support global transfer pricing preparation and analysis.
• Analyze and reconcile tax accounts during month-end close.
• Assist with U.S. international tax returns and disclosures.
• Participate in required intern events and independent and team projects.

Requirements

• Current student pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or a related field at an accredited college or university.
• Academic knowledge of tax, accounting, or a related discipline.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong computer proficiency.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, prioritization skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Immigration-related sponsorship is not provided, including H-1B, OPT, STEM OPT, CPT, TN, and J-1 support.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot in daily work.
• Ability to evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias.
• Experience integrating AI into workflows and familiarity with AI-assisted research, summarization, and content generation.
• Understanding of responsible AI use, ethics, and data protection.
