Fleet Technician (Diesel)

What you will do

• Repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel heavy-duty trucks and refuse equipment.
• Service chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulic and electrical controls, air and hydraulic brakes, suspension, drivetrains, and steering systems.
• Perform engine repair, diesel fuel system diagnostics, aftertreatment and REGEN diagnostics, and HVAC repairs.
• Diagnose electrical and multi-system issues using scan tools and other electronic equipment.
• Perform line maintenance, welding, fabrication, inspections, and repairs on-site and on the road.
• Complete applicable company training and related maintenance duties.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience working as a technician on heavy-duty trucks.
• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues and demonstrate strong technical expertise.
• Ability to independently inspect and repair heavy-truck or automotive systems including suspension, steering, engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, hydraulics, drivetrains, and diesel emissions.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• ASE Heavy Truck Certifications T1–T8, LNG/CNG experience, and Class B or higher CDL are advantageous but not required; CDL B is preferred.
