Salary: $58,440–$93,500 annual base salary

What you will do

• Provide personal financial counseling and management services to military service members and their families.
• Help service members establish spending plans for extended absences and provide relevant financial materials.
• Coordinate and deliver financial management classes, workshops, briefings, and age-appropriate seminars.
• Use approved virtual counseling and secure electronic communication tools when authorized.
• Work with installation and military branch points of contact, leadership, and other providers to support program needs.
• Manage duty-to-warn situations, participate in supervision and training, and contribute to quality improvement activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an associate degree plus 4 years of experience or a high school diploma plus 6 years of experience may be considered instead.
• At least 3 years of financial counseling experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
• Must be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation and pass the Congressionally Mandated Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest process.
• Must hold one of the following certifications: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
• Valid in-state driver’s license required.
