Floating Career Advisor

Location: Racine, Wisconsin, USA; regular travel between assigned workforce center locations is required

Salary: USD 22.60–23.75 per hour

What you will do

• Build trusting relationships with participants and provide career coaching, case management, and follow-up support.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized employment and service plans.
• Connect participants with training, supportive services, community resources, and career pathways.
• Deliver direct services and operational support across multiple workforce center locations.
• Maintain accurate participant records and support reporting, data collection, compliance, and performance tracking.
• Support special projects, staffing coverage, program implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, education, counseling, workforce development, communications, business, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• At least two years of experience in career coaching, workforce development, employment services, case management, education, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, written communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel frequently between assigned locations are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with SNAP E&T, FSET, WIOA, TANF, or other grant-funded employment programs.
• Knowledge of labor market trends, career pathways, and community resources.
• Experience supporting people facing employment barriers.
• Bilingual language skills.
• Experience working across multiple locations or with geographically dispersed teams.
