Workday HCM Sr. Consultant - AMS

Salary: $110,000–$140,000 USD base annually; total estimated compensation including annual incentive opportunity: $126,000–$161,000 USD.

What you will do

• Support and optimize Workday HCM solutions for a diverse portfolio of clients in an Application Management Services environment.
• Act as a functional expert across Core HCM, Time Tracking, Absence, Compensation, and Benefits.
• Troubleshoot complex business process, security, data, and configuration issues in production and post-production environments.
• Analyze business requirements, create functional specifications, support testing, and deliver scalable configuration enhancements.
• Support Workday releases, feature adoption, impact analysis, and ongoing optimization.
• Lead client-facing discussions and provide strategic guidance on HR processes and Workday leading practices.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience implementing, configuring, or supporting Workday HCM in a production or post-production AMS environment.
• Hands-on expertise in Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Time Tracking, and Absence Management.
• Experience with Workday configuration, organizational structures, staffing models, business processes, security, worker lifecycle events, and employee transactions.
• Experience with root cause analysis, production issue resolution, functional specifications, testing, and stakeholder partnership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• No travel is required unless requested by the client.

Nice to have

• Active Workday Certification, preferably Workday HCM Certification.
• Additional certifications in Time Tracking, Absence, Compensation, or Benefits.
• Experience with Tier 3 production support and medium to large-scale Workday environments with complex or global organizational structures.
