Lead Software Engineer (Kofax)

Location: Buffalo, New York, United States; in-office work required four days per week

Salary: $160,713–$170,713 per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain secure, resilient applications within approved SDLC processes.
• Coach engineers on coding practices, data structures, algorithms, code quality, and testing.
• Review and approve designs, pull requests, requirements, testing methodologies, and code coverage.
• Oversee source control, code merges, change management, and production deployment activities.
• Drive performance testing, resiliency, optimization, and adherence to engineering patterns and practices.
• Partner with technical and business stakeholders on architecture, delivery, risk escalation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least five years of experience in the offered role or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or in a related occupation.
• Five years of experience with Kofax Total Agility or Tungsten Total Agility, C#, .NET, Visual Studio, and SQL Server.
• Five years of experience with object-oriented programming concepts, Kofax Insight or Tungsten Insight Studio, jQuery, and Python.
• Must work in the Buffalo office four days every week.
