Senior Frontend Engineer (Vue/Nuxt)

Location: Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain; hybrid policy requires 3 days per week at the Paris office, with Monday mandatory

What you will do

• Build, launch, monitor, and support products in a build-it-and-run-it engineering environment.
• Develop seamless user experiences at scale using Vue, Nuxt, and TypeScript.
• Improve existing designs and architecture for important squad projects and mission-critical areas.
• Contribute to the transformation from a monolith to distributed, service-oriented architecture.
• Participate in complex technical discussions, code reviews, and high-impact chaos mitigation.
• Collaborate with squad members, Staff Engineers, and the wider engineering community.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills, with frontend experience in Vue.js and Nuxt.
• Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines such as CircleCI or equivalent.
• Ability to produce high-quality code with tests, documentation, and detailed pull-request descriptions.
• Strong code review, collaboration, communication, and end-to-end product thinking skills.
• Professional English required for collaboration with an international team.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, Go, or another backend language.
• Interest in GCS, Kubernetes, Docker, REST APIs, Algolia, and Datadog.
